Submissions
Oratia Books invites submissions for children’s books (picture books and non-fiction), history, Māori, Pasifika and general non-fiction books. We are no longer publishing junior or YA fiction.
Please supply a covering letter, a synopsis of your work and up to three sample chapters (or a full manuscript in the case of children’s works). Depending on your book’s potential, we will aim to respond within eight weeks of receiving your submission.
Submissions are accepted by mail (enclosing a stamped, addressed envelope) to Editorial at the address in the left-hand column; or by email to submissions@oratia.co.nz.
